Saturday’s Washington Nationals sport was suspended after a taking pictures outdoors the stadium led to a panicked scene, with attendees ducking for canopy and the groups retreating to their clubhouses. D.C. Police mentioned at a press convention Saturday night time that three individuals have been shot.
Police described the incident as a “shootout” between two vehicles outdoors of Nationals Park. One of many vehicles has been recovered and police are interviewing two people from that automobile, each of whom are within the hospital. One of many victims was a feminine harmless bystander and is “anticipated to be OK,” police mentioned.
CBS Information congressional correspondent Kris Van Cleave was on the sport and reported listening to “three bangs” in fast succession. Each matchups will likely be full nine-inning video games, with the primary sport choosing up the place it left off within the backside of the sixth.
